CGB-GEA-F. Martin Edward MOLBY, b. Nov. 3, 1846 (Sam.6, Chester 5, Jonathan 4, Sam.3, Sam.2, Wm.1). m. Oct. 25, 1864, Lavantia E. CHASE dau. of Bradford CHASE and Emeline TAPPAN, his first wife. Lavantia was b. 1845, Baldwinsville, N.Y.; d. June 9, 1931, in Reading, Mich. Her parents were prominent in Bladwinsville, and their records can be found in family genealogies. She owned a "quaint little hat that his mother MOLBY had worn." The hat is now (1955) in possession of Martin's nephew, Fred A. MOLBY, of Baldwin, Kansas. Martin MOLBY d. July 7, 1929, at Reading, Michigan. They, their daughter, and her husband are buried in the MOLBY-WARNER lot, Maplewood Cemetery, at Reading, Michigan. Mr. Molby was a farmer and also worked at the carpenter trade.
